Alex Belfield ignites public spat with Charlie Mullins ahead of Ustreme Interview

Celebrity interviewer Alex Belfield has ignited a public spat with one of his guests – multi-millionaire plumbing boss Charlie Mullins OBE – ahead of their explosive chat being aired on Ustreme.

The interview was filmed exclusively for Ustreme, which is owned by comedian Jim Davidson OBE, as part of a new series called ‘Face To Face’.

During the interview, Charlie spoke about his rags to riches life, starting out as an apprentice plumber before launching Pimlico Plumbers, which he sold last year for £145 million.

He also discussed his appearance, including cosmetic treatments, and his bid to become the next London Mayor.

But Alex took the tycoon to task over his controversial ‘no jab, no job’ policy for all Pimlico Plumbers staff.

Ahead of the interview being aired on Ustreme, Alex has taken to social media to slam Charlie, describing him as a ‘pr***’ and the ‘world’s richest thicko’.

Charlie hit back, calling him ‘two-faced’ and a ‘back-stabbing liar’. He also posted a meme that read: “Haters don’t really hate you, they hate themselves because you’re a reflection of what they wish to be.”

Davidson said: “Alex Belfield is presenting the first series of Face to Face with a number of celebrity guests. During the interview it became obvious that Alex was not a fan.

“Alex’s remarks about Charlie were made on his own channel and on social media, and do not in any way reflect the views of Ustreme.

“Charlie and Jim are friends and Alex’s views are entirely his own.”

The full interview will be streamed on ustreme.com on Sunday, May 1.
