Jim looking forward to long-awaited Weymouth return

Comedian and Ustreme founder Jim Davidson OBE will be returning to the stage in Weymouth for the first time in three years.

The star will be bringing his latest tour, Not Yet Cancelled, to Weymouth Pavilion on Sunday, March 12, and said: “Remember, they’re just jokes. I’ll say things 90% of the population agree with…but I just say them out loud to make people laugh.”

The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £27.

Jim, who also performs regularly at Dorset’s Tivoli Theatre, in Wimborne, added: “I’m looking forward to renewing my relationship with wonderful Weymouth.

“I bring the boat to Weymouth often and I love the place. My ex-wife’s dad, Bert, lives in Weymouth. I get on better with him than I did with his daughter, and I married her!

“Some of the timings just hadn’t worked out with my previous shows which is why it’s been such a long time since I’ve performed at the theatre but I can’t wait to be back.

“It’s going to be a great night. Don’t you worry about that!”
