Ustreme’s critically-acclaimed stand-up spectacular, Proper Comedians, is coming back for another series – and tickets are on sale now.
The first series of the show, which revived the spirit of old ITV hit The Comedians, was performed in front of sell-out crowds over two nights at the Gaiety Bar, in Southsea, in November.
And after receiving rave reviews, including this piece in The Express (https://www.express.co.uk/entertainment/theatre/1705149/proper-comedians-southsea-gaiety-theatre-tv-show), the show will be back for round two on Wednesday, May 17 and Thursday, May 18.
Jimmy Jones, Bobby Davro Duncan Norvelle, Mike Osman and Danny Posthill are among the comedians performing, as well as Ustreme founder and comedy legend, Jim Davidson.
The shows, which will be different each night, are being hosted by national entertainment journalist and critic Garry Bushell – who will also be performing his own comedy routines.
The shows will be filmed and then be edited down to 30-minute episodes to be streamed exclusively on Ustreme.
Jim said: “The motto of Ustreme is to make people laugh like they used to – and that’s exactly what we are planning to do.
“Everyone loved the first series of Proper Comedians. It’s un-PC comedy at its best, bringing together some of the best comedians we’ve had in this country on to the same stage, and we can’t wait to do it all again.”
Tickets cost £27, £128 for a table of four, £192 for a table of six or £256 for a table of eight.
