Sleep well, our beautiful Vicky Wright

Our hearts are broken following the passing of our beautiful Vicky Wright after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer.

The much-loved singer and actress appeared regularly as a special star guest on Ustreme shows, including Jim’s Sunday Sandwich and Sunday Night Live.

She was the proud mum of daughter Kelly and fiancee of Bobby Davro, and just months ago wowed audiences with an emotional tribute to her late father, beloved football hero Billy Wright, when she told his incredible life story on stage.

The 63-year-old, whose mum was Joy Beverley of the Beverley Sisters, received a standing ovation from the crowd at Cannock’s Prince of Wales Theatre, following her celebration show, ‘The Billy Wright Story’.

Ustreme founder Jim Davidson, who been friends with Vicky for decades, said: “Our hearts are broken.

“Vicky was part of our family and we all loved her dearly.

“We have known for a while that she was very poorly but we had all hoped and prayed that she would pull through.

“She has left a huge hole in our hearts and our lives.”

Ustreme PR Vicky Nash said: “Vicky lit up a room. She was an absolute joy to be around.

“It was an honour and privilege for all of us here to work with her and be able to call her a friend.

“Heaven has gained the most beautiful angel.”
