“It’s a new chapter”: Jim Davidson finalises divorce from fifth wife Michelle

Comedian Jim Davidson is officially divorced from his fifth wife, he revealed today. 

The star had been with Michelle Cotton for more than 20 years and the couple were married for 14.

The pair remain friends, and Jim has told of his happiness at moving on to a new chapter with girlfriend, Natasha.

He said: “There you go, the divorce came through today, so it’s done. I’m divorced again, my fifth divorce.

“The house has been sold and that will be going through in March, fingers crossed.

“It’s a new chapter for all of us.

“I’ve spoken to Michelle today and wished her the best of luck. I’ve arranged to take some stuff and pick up some bits and pieces. 

“She said I was welcome around there any time. I said I was only going to do it if the dogs weren’t there so I’ve asked that if I call up to go round that she take the dogs for a walk because I don’t want to heap anymore sadness on the situation.

“People don’t think of that when you split up.

“I’ve got a little step-dog now called Luna. She’s lovely and I’m having a great time. 

“There’s lots of people caring about me and taking an interest in the bits I put on Facebook with my new girlfriend, Natasha. 

“We’re just taking it day by day and enjoying ourselves. You never know what’s round the corner, especially in this mad, mad world.”
