Thank you to our heroes: Ustreme offers 50% membership discount for past and present military personnel
Serving and former military personnel will be offered a 50% discount for Ustreme membership.
The limited offer is being launched to say thank you to the heroes willing to put their lives on the line for Queen and Country.
The offer is available to those who serve, or have served, in Her Majesty’s Armed Forces who join up for an annual Ustreme subscription between June 6-14.
It coincides with the anniversary of the Normandy D-Day landings on June 6 1944 as well as the 40th anniversary of the Falklands War, which ended with Argentinian surrender to British forces on June 14 1982.
Ustreme founder, comedian Jim Davidson OBE – a staunch supporter of the British military who has entertained troops overseas on numerous occasions and raised millions of pounds for military charities – said: “We are big fans at Ustreme of our brave boys and girls who put their neck on the line to serve.
“They are all heroes and we wanted to do something to say thank you for their service.
“What better time to give them something back than on the anniversary of the D-Day landings and the anniversary of the Falklands War.”
The offer has been launched for the streaming of Ustreme’s brand new Pull Up A Sandbag series, which sees Falklands hero Denzil Connick interview fellow veterans of the conflict exclusively for the platform.
The interviews will be streamed on ustreme.com from June 1-14.
